Vanessa Savage, CFP®, President, Summit Financial Group Advisor

Vanessa joined the Summit Financial Foundation board because she wanted to be a part of the effort from its beginnings and watch it grow. She’s proud of the way Summit Financial Group and its leadership is making an impact and giving back to the community through organizations such as Rooms of Hope and Canine Companions. “Giving back is something we have always talked about at Summit so it feels great to be a part of this Foundation,” said Vanessa, who joined Summit Financial Group as an advisor in 2008. Vanessa lives in Danville with her husband and three rambunctious boys.

Rachael Kepke, CFP®, Vice President, Summit Financial Group Manager of Financial Planning and Professional Services

Growing up in Girl Scouts, Rachael is no stranger to giving back to the community. She was honored to be asked to join the Summit Financial Foundation board, helping the organization reach its goal of supporting local charities in the area. Rachael has been involved with Summit Financial Group’s Annual Charity Golf Tournament since 2014 and has worked with Rooms of Hope to build a dream room for a critically ill child. Rachael looks forward to discovering new charities and ways we can help those in need in the years to come.

Teresa Hookey, Treasurer, Summit Financial Group Controller

Teresa’s desire to serve, coupled with her accounting knowledge, has afforded her opportunities to volunteer with local PTA boards and various youth athletic boards. Nathan Bennett, CFP®, CBEC®, ChFC®, CLU®, Member at Large, Summit Partner, Financial Advisor

Nathan believes it is an honor and privilege to make a difference in the community his friends and family call home. As a partner at Summit Financial Group, he and business partner Steve Wilcox have long believed that company success should provide the ability to give back and make a difference. It is exciting to see that work coming to fruition in the form of the Summit Financial Foundation.

In addition to work, family, and the Summit Foundation, Nathan serves on the board of Rooms of Hope, is a coach for youth sports, and mentors young professionals. Nathan and his family live, play, and, on occasion, get to relax in Pleasanton.

Steven Wilcox, CAP®, CFP®, ChFC®, CFS, Past President, Summit Financial Group Partner

Steve makes community service a professional and personal priority. A lifetime subscriber in the theory of abundance, he believes all individuals and organizations benefit from giving back to the community. Steve has served on many non-profit boards throughout the community, and is a past president of his rotary club and Leadership San Ramon Valley.
